Unlike accrual accounting, which recognizes earned revenue, the direct method instead focuses on payments received from customers and money paid to suppliers. It uses your company’s actual cash receipts to determine your operating cash flow. The direct method actually tracks all of your business’ cash transactions during a specific period. Operating Cash Flow = Net Income + Non-Cash Expenses + Changes in Working Capital With the indirect method, you’ll add your business’s net income, your non-cash expenses, and changes in your working capital using the following formula: You can calculate your company’s operating income cash flow in two ways: the indirect method and the direct method. It also shows how much cash your company has available to finance your business’s growth and new endeavors. It shows where and how money is being spent and offers insight into your company’s operations and where you make improvements. This number is integral to your business’s financial health. The cash flow from operating activities is found in the first section of your cash flow statement. These business activities can include generating revenue by providing services to your customers or producing and selling goods, paying expenses, or funding working capital. Your operating cash flow measures the cash generated or consumed by your company’s standard operating activities-in other words, sales, bills, and wages. But as you grow and build your company, showing a positive cash flow can help you attract investors if your business wants to expand into new markets, upgrade systems to better reach current markets, and more. ![]() In fact, most startups take three to four years to turn a profit. Of course, not every business will be immediately profitable. ![]() Your company’s goal should be to generate a positive flow of cash, indicating that you can cover future obligations and expenses because your liquid assets are increasing-in other words, you’re successfully operating and making money. This assessment is important when budgeting and to show investors. Essentially, it shows you where your money came from and where it went, offering an important assessment of your business’s financial health. Your company’s cash flow statement provides a detailed look at how your business’s cash has moved during this period, which could be monthly, quarterly, or annually. This includes all money your company makes and spends. Then this free cash flow is accessible to improve the growth of the business, spend on new products, and to decrease debt and pay payments to equity benefactors.Cash flow is the net amount of cash that moves in and out of your business during a given period. The purpose of free cash flow is to see what cash is available (free) from the business operations after allowing for cash to control the present growth rate. Download Free Operating Cash Flow Templates: It is significant to note that free cash flow trusts seriously on the state of a company’s cash from operations, which in turn is comprehensively inclined by the company’s net income. FCF = Operating Cash Flow – Capital Expenditures It is determined by taking the operating cash flow and deducting capital expenditure. Its formula is the same as the cash conversion cycle (CCC). This is useful for assessing in a direction to maintain or grow the business. It is the average period of time necessary for a business to produce an amount of cash to produce goods, sell the goods, and receive cash from customers in exchange for the goods. How The Cash Conversion Cycle is Calculated?ĬCC is also stated as the cash cycle. It computes the time between the payment for inventory and the receipt of cash from customers, whereas the operating cycle computes the time between buying the inventory and receiving cash from customers. The cash conversion cycle is different from the operating cycle as it permits for the accounts payable payment operating cycle. ![]() It is the time period from when cash is paid out for goods and inventory, to when cash is received from sales of products. When you start a business, you buy goods, keeps them as a record, pays for the records, change them to a product for sale and sell products on credit, and by selling the products you collect the money. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() Nickelodeon Party Blast is a Nicktoon crossover video game of the party genre, released in 2002 by Data Design. It is styled after other kart racers such as the Mario Kart series. Nearly all versions were developed by Software Creations, with the exception of the Game boy Advance version, which was developed by Firemini, and the arcade version, which was developed by Chicago Gaming. The game was first developed and released for the Game boy Color and Microsoft Windows in 2000, while versions for different platforms were released in subsequent years. Thanks.Nicktoons Racing is, as its name suggests, a racing video game starring characters from various Nicktoons. Feel free to edit it as needed, but please attribute it to me. I only sat down and typed this because no real description was there. Oh yeah, and whoever runs this site: feel free to take this comment and use it as the new description for the game. If you did, and you can spare a dollar or two, please consider searching for me on. I hope someone out there finds this helpful. The GBA version is definitely worth playing, but as you might expect, it's almost a completely different game. The PS1 version also seems way too hard compared to Windows, plus I don't think it supports analog sticks. On modern hardware, the Windows version completely blows the PS1 out of the water graphically. I'd like to close by recommending the Windows version over the PS1 and GBA versions. Any '90s kid should be able to get at least a few hours of fun out of it. While the gameplay isn't quite perfect, there is still plenty of fun to be had racing and battling on good-looking tracks while listening to pleasing music. Overall, Nicktoons Racing is a pretty good game in my opinion. The sound effects are also pretty good quality, including the voice clips assigned to each character which I believe are all taken straight from the TV shows. Its quality is pretty good since it is stored as 32KHz PCM. I find the music quite enjoyable, though you probably won't get the bulk of it stuck in your head - no real bangers here. I suggest keeping one or two bars of speedburst handy for quick recovery in case you are hit by an opponent's weapon or run over slime. (If you get the cardboard box, aim it carefully, as when it lands on certain surfaces it does absolutely nothing.) For extra speed, you'll need to pick up the blue and pink gems (called speedburst) along the track or drive over boost pads. The gift boxes on the tracks will give you mostly offensive items. Almost all of them contain shortcuts, but there is no drivable terrain that can slow your character, so there is nothing stopping you from taking these shortcuts at any time. They are pleasing to look at and mostly well designed, though you may find yourself getting caught on pieces of geometry at times. The race tracks are themed after the shows the playable characters come from. You get a good variety of characters to choose from, but they all seem to handle identically, so just pick your favorites. Relays are just single races where you compete against one opponent and switch characters each lap. You can also do single races, relay races, and time trials. After you get the gold trophy on each cup, you will unlock a higher difficulty. As far as I can tell, the controller only works for player 1, so if you find someone to play with you'll DEFINITELY need JoyToKey running.Īs for the game itself, you're looking at 3 cups of four tracks to race through, plus 2 bonus maps that are not for racing. XInput controllers are supported, too, though you'll want to run JoyToKey in the background as some functions cannot be bound to the controller. I was VERY excited to see the display is not stretched improperly in 16:9 resolutions. The game runs just fine under Windows 7, and even supports high resolution display, though you'll have to do a quick hex edit to the config file for that. Choosing a firmware interface: UEFI vs BIOS But keep in mind, that a boot sector is required only for BIOS-based systems. So for now, we’ll stick to the first sector as well. This isn’t obligatory for a modern boot system, but most developers place the bootloader in the first sector. The boot sector is usually the first sector of the disk. When the firmware finds the bootloader, it loads it and the bootloader initiates the launch of the OS. Computer firmware reads the data contained in this first sector and processes it to the system memory when the machine is powered up. This sector is also known as the master boot record (MBR).
